Tea & Consciousness with Penny Kelly
March 30, 2008
@ Lily Hill Farm in Lawton, MI.
Sunday afternoons, 1-4:30 p.m.

Cost: $35 each Sunday, includes tea, muffins, & fruit

E-mail or call to register: (269) 624-6022

After the book Consciousness & Energy, Vol. 1 came out, people began calling to ask if I was going to hold a class on the topics raised in the book. There wasn't time to put a class together, but we thought a suggestion from Laurel Design-Hayes to hold an "afternoon tea" sounded fun and interesting. We held the first one, the second one was postponed because I was out of town, and since then I've had many requests for another.

Thus, the first afternoon Tea and Consciousness of the year will be held on the Sunday after Easter, and again on April 20. If you would like to do something different on your weekend, come on out for tea, coffee, or hot chocolate and a few goodies and fruits while we talk about life, death, consciousness, healing, relationships, love, money, the future, multi-dimensional existence, or whatever interests you.

We will go a little longer than the first Tea and Consciousness as this time we will add a Medicine Wheel circle. You put a problem into the circle anonymously and gather one idea or solution from each person present. We'll close with a healing meditation. You can attend either, or both, as suits yourself. The conversation will depend on what is on your mind, or what you are curious about, so bring yourself and a friend and join us for an interesting and healing Sunday afternoon. The cost is $35 per person, and please RSVP by calling (269) 624-6022 so we know how many goodies to have on hand.

April 12, 2008

Sweat Lodge with Mel Two Singing Owls Thomas and Marilee Snyder
Saturday, April 12, 2008
1:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Lily Hill Farm in Lawton, MI.
Cost: $88 per person
Bring: a dish to pass, a towel, a change of clothes
E-mail or call (269) 624-6022

The sweat lodge, or Inipi Ceremony, creates deep connections to Mother Earth, our ancestors, and our issues through prayer and cleansing. Mel Two Singing Owls will be the firekeeper, and Marilee Snyder will be pouring and drumming in a ceremony based on Lakota tradition. Whether you seek visions, or to detox your body, or just want to enjoy the hot peace of clarity and oneness that settles over you in the lodge, this is an evening for you.

The Lodge actually begins a few hours before entering with participants selecting stones, placing them, building a firewood cone and energetically supporting the lighting of the fire. If physical challenges advise against entering the lodge for the typical two hour duration, then one can still participate by joining the firekeeper on the outside. Women on their moon are also asked to refrain from entering the lodge because their energies at that sacred time override the energies inside the lodge.

Women are asked to wear a skirt, and something that covers their shoulders, like a T-shirt. No sarongs. Also no jewelry, glasses, rings, or other bodily adornments are worn simply because they get too hot and can burn your skin. Visions are common while in the lodge, and emerging is like a rebirth.

Drink plenty of water to hydrate yourself beforehand as there is considerable fluid loss while in the lodge. Do not drink alcohol or take drugs for 24 hours before, and bring a towel and a change of clothes as what is worn in the lodge is drenched with sweat by the end. Everyone is always hungry when the sweat is over, so bring a dish to pass and we will enjoy a potluck dinner before heading home. The cost is $88 per participant for the Sweat Lodge. Thy physical lodge itself will hold a maximum of 15 people, so reserve your space today, and plan to give your body, mind, and spirit this deeply healing experience.

Artist's Workshop Week
July 14-19, 2008
at Lily Hill Farm, Lawton, MI
3:00 pm Monday - 12 noon Saturday
Cost: $775 includes private room with bath, meals, and tuition
E-mail or call to register: (269) 624-6022

This week grew out of a combination of things, but especially from the continuous stream of comments from both men and women who were struggling to find time to focus on a creative project that had their heart. One wanted time to work on a novel, another wanted to write poetry, another kept sneaking time to quilt and crochet, one fellow kept ignoring his drawing and painting because he had to "make a living," a young woman cried because she never had time to focus on her photography. Being a writer myself, I know the frustration of making time to writeand of all the things that go undone when you finally sit down to do what you love.

The result was the creation of the Artist's Workshop Week and the invitation to all of you who have an inner muse to allow time and space for that must to emerge. If you are a writer, painter, musician, poet, or would just like to enhance your creative soul, consider spending your vacation here with other artists. We will get up each morning and go into creative mode immediately, working independently, indoors or out, and focusing on your passion until 1:30 pm. We will then break for a leisurely lunch on the patio or in the cafe. After lunch we will share what we have accomplished over the morning, including the thoughts and awarenesses that accompanied the process, and critique our work collectively.

The remainder of the afternoon will be devoted to continued work on your project and perhaps refining, editing, or re-designing and re-shaping what was created over the morning. The evening begins with supper at 7:00 pm, and may include a dinner out, music, movement, drumming, or watching a video that has been chosen to awaken the deep wells of creativity in you. So don't just take a week off of work and stay home this summer. Bring your drawing pad, needles, computer, paints, quilt, cameras, or whatever, and do something that combines relaxation, education, and a sense of contributing joy to the world. The price is $775 for the week and includes a private room with bathroom, meals, and tuition. You will come away with more highly developed skills, marketing information, nthusiasm, respect for your gifts, and a rich contentment in having taking time to follow your heart.

Getting Well Again, Naturally... with Penny Kelly
September 20-21, 2008 at Lily Hill Farm in Lawton, MI.
Saturday & Sunday, 9:30 am - 5:00 pm
Cost: $295, includes lunch and a copy of From The Soil To The Stomach
E-mail or call to register: (269) 624-6022

If you are tired of being sick or your other attempts to get well have not succeeded, Getting Well Again, Naturally is a class that will teach you how to heal yourself. This is not a basic barebones wellness approach for those who want to avoid colds and sniffles, it is an in-depth class designed for those who are long past the wellness approach and are dealing with catastrophic disease or chronic illness.

This class presents a whole picture of the commitment you must make in order to heal. It is filled with the information you absolutely must have if you are going to put together an intelligent and powerful healing program. It covers what to expect physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually when you start to rebuild your body; the five major detoxification procedures that are absolutely essential to restoring good function; the truth about real food; how to use vitamins, minerals, glandulars, enzymes, and aminos; what a good healing program will cost you in the short term, as well as later in the maintenance phase; what is essential in a heal program, and what is helpful but is really "an extra."

Our premise here is that if you have a physical body, you can learn to heal yourself. IN fact, you are probably the only one who can really heal you. After taking Getting Well Again, people have commented again and again, "Why didn't anyone ever teach us this stuff! This is critical to a healthy life and full healing."

Cost: $295, includes a delicious organic lunch
E-mail or call to register: (269) 624-6022

For those who have taken the other six Intuition classes, the focus now is on what it means to develop Christ-consciousness as well as the ability to change perception at will and "on a dime" - both your own perception and the perception of others. Each student must design, develop, and present a small experience that will shift or expand the awareness of others in the class. When finished we celebrate going out into the world with a whole new understanding of self, life, and the reality we share.
